Calhan Housing Authority
Calhan Housing Authority also referred to as Silvercrest Villas, is an Unincorporated Nonprofit Association and is the landlord/owner of this apartment complex for seniors 62 years of age or older and disabled persons over 55 years of age. This is an independent living facility that features 20 one bedroom, one bath units, without air conditioning.
Landlord
The Landlord acting through its managers and the board of directors are proud to have this housing complex for the senior community of Calhan. Surveillance cameras are used 24/7 for the grounds and cameras inside the common areas, for the Event Center, Laundry room, Mail-room, and Office for security. Our facility is open to all eligible residents without regard to age, ethnic group, race, religion, sex or national origin.
Section 8
Each resident of "Silvercrest Villas" may benefit from monthly rental payment assistance under the H.U.D. Section 8 program. This assistance makes the rent affordable to the residents who meet the income eligibility guidelines as prescribed by the H.U.D. Section 8 program. Once approved and accepted the tenant will sign the Lease for Subsidized Programs HUD-90105a in conjunction with their Resident Guide Book, both are legal documents.
